No matter where you are on your pregnancy journey, taking time to mindfully move is a gift to both you and your baby. With the guidance of Jessica your expert prenatal teacher, you'll learn how to adapt your yoga practice for each trimester.

What does pregnancy yoga help with? 

  • Pregnancy yoga supports your changing body, it is a safe and relaxing way to stretch and strengthen your muscles, in particular your lower body to ease the process of supporting your growing belly.

  • It helps to tone important muscle groups, especially the pelvic floor in preparation for the birthing process.

  • It also helps prepare you for labour. Working to connect with yogic methods of deep, mindful breathing can help your body loosen and relax, and get you to that inner-mammalian place, where you let your body do what it instinctively already knows: give birth.

  • Pregnancy yoga connect you with your baby/babies. Even the act of going to a prenatal yoga class once (or more) each week is a gentle reminder to take time out of your busy work and home life to care for and bond with your growing baby. 

  • It helps provide relief from common pregnancy symptoms such as lower back pain, nausea, insomnia, headaches, shortness of breath, and carpal tunnel syndrome. By stretching and toning muscles, you can help blood circulate throughout the body in a healthy way. Also, deep breathing can bring much-needed oxygen to your baby and to your own muscles.

  • Pregnancy yoga connects you with other Mamas. Group classes become a pregnancy support group of sorts, where women connect with other women who are making the same choices and lifestyles changes. 

  • It can help connect you to your inner-wisdom, spirituality and intuition, cultivating a deeper connection to your body, mind and baby. 

Prices for group classes:

 

All group classes are held in and around Manchester (new group class info TBC)

 

Group class duration: 1 hour 15 minutes

6 week course - £70

Prices for private classes:

Private classes can be customised to fit your pregnancy needs, experience, interests and trimester.

Classes can be taught in the comfort of your home or from Jessicas home-studio in Monton.

Prices may vary depending on location -

Private class duration: 1 hour 15 minutes, (can be modified)

4 classes: £160

8 classes: £300

12 classes: £420
